Paragon releases Modeller 6.2

We are very pleased to announce that our latest major release of Modeller, version 6.2, delivering new functionality and usability improvements designed to further enhance the model development process. This release continues our commitment to providing credit risk teams with powerful, transparent, and efficient tools for building and managing their predictive models.

Key Enhancements in Modeller 6.2

1. Holdout Volumes in the Groups Screen

Users can now view holdout statistics directly within the Groups screen when a holdout sample has been defined and applied to the process page. Enhancements include:

  • Additional columns displaying holdout statistics alongside development data

  • A new univariate Gini statistic for each field

  • An additional WoE series for holdout data on the WoE chart

This provides greater visibility of model performance on unseen data at an early stage of the build process.

2. Automated Reporting

Modeller’s reporting functionality has been enhanced to allow the automated generation of a suite of model-agnostic reports as part of the model build process. These reports include:

  • Side-by-side performance comparisons between development and holdout data

  • Fairness and bias detection to help ensure models do not discriminate against protected characteristics (such as gender or race)

These improvements support best practices in transparency, explainability and compliance.

3. Improved User Interface and Workflow

Several usability enhancements have been introduced to streamline the modelling experience:

  • Improved object linking mechanics: When a new object is added to the process page, potential sources are automatically highlighted and can be linked with a single click. Where possible, Modeller will also auto-connect objects, reducing manual effort.

  • Simplified parameter editing: Parameters within the object inspector can now be updated more quickly by double-clicking the parameter caption.

These changes make the modelling workflow faster and more intuitive, helping analysts focus on insight rather than process set-up.

At Paragon, we continue to invest in Modeller to ensure it evolves alongside the needs of our users. This release reinforces our focus on efficiency, explainability and governance - enabling risk teams to deliver models that are robust, compliant and trusted.
